The Department of Agricultural Economics at Ondokuz Mayıs University aims to be an academic unit that addresses the economic, social and environmental dimensions of the agricultural sector with a holistic approach, conducting education, research and social contribution activities within a broad framework ranging from sustainable production to digital agriculture applications. Our department aims to provide a learning environment that fosters a culture of scientific thinking, supports data-driven analytical skills, and generates innovative solutions for the future of agriculture. At the same time, it envisions nurturing students to become individuals who can compete nationally and internationally and play an active role in the transformation of agriculture.
